Yes! The programme is designed to support SMEs from all regions of Namibia. We encourage applications from urban and rural areas alike, with special consideration for businesses that can create local employment and contribute to regional economic development.
What documents do I need to apply?
Required documents typically include business registration (if formal), financial statements, business plan or concept outline, and owner identification document. Informal businesses will receive support with documentation during the formalisation process.

Selected participants will have access to Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) and Bloomberg Financial Fundamentals (BFF) certifications. These globally recognised credentials enhance your financial literacy and business credibility in international markets.
How does the Harvard ManageMentor component work?
Selected participants will receive access to Harvard Business School's ManageMentor platform, featuring 40+ leadership and management topics, interactive lessons, and practical tools throughout the programme. This world-class content covers strategy, finance, leadership, and operational excellence.
What type of mentorship support is provided?
Each participant is matched with an experienced business mentor for regular one-on-one sessions. Mentors are selected based on industry expertise, business stage alignment, and growth objectives. Sessions typically occur weekly or bi-weekly depending on your track.

How much time do I need to dedicate to the program?
The programme requires weekly time dedication, including online learning, mentorship sessions, peer interactions, and practical application. The time commitment is structured to be manageable alongside running your business.

Absolutely! The programme is designed for active business owners and entrepreneurs. The curriculum and scheduling accommodate your operational responsibilities while providing maximum learning and growth opportunities

Is there a cost to participate in the programme?
The programme is provided at no cost to selected participants. This includes all training materials, Bloomberg access, Harvard ManageMentor subscription, and mentorship support. The programme is fully sponsored by Standard Bank and NIFA Academy.

While the programme does not provide direct funding, it creates a pipeline to funding opportunities. Participants receive training on funding readiness, investor pitch preparation, and introductions to potential funders including banks, investors, and government programs.
